GO FESTIVE! will be attending the PTO Today Expo at the Hampton Inn & Suites Valley Forge on March 23, 2010 from 9am-2:30pm. Greetings Everyone! We just want to get the word out that GO FESTIVE! will be at the International Special Events Society Industry Showcase – Fresh!2010 – on Wednesday, March 24. Hey Festive Friends! We hope you all got a chance to stop by our launch party last Friday – it was a real treat! As you may have heard, we are now offering mobile laser tag parties! We bring the inflatable obstacles and the guns, and you provide teams of people ready to have fun! Our laser tag parties can take place indoors – in a gym, cafeteria, even in an office, amongst the cubicles! Of course we can also bring the party outdoors (day OR night!) to play on an open field, in your backyard, or around a community park!

To introduce this great new service to the public, we had a launch party on March 5 at our building, 2424 Studios which has a space just perfect for large gatherings and good times – the Skybox! We set up our inflatable laser tag obstacles and ran laser tag games all evening long. To keep our guests entertained while waiting their turn, we also had a photobooth and a JUMBO 21′ tall inflatable screen where guests played Wii Fit and Guitar Hero!  A laser tag game in progress!
One of the best things about GO FESTIVE! is our team – they’re all great people who love to have a good time. And they have great friends and family members who came to pitch in for setting up the party. Of course, we wanted them to enjoy as well! From our owner Natalie’s husband Matt to the friends and family of our team members, people turned out to enjoy and make the party a success! To top off this great evening, GO FESTIVE! held a drawing – the winner won a free two hour BATTLE BLAST Laser Tag Party for up to 24 people. The lucky winner was Jess Croll, a teacher in Chester School District. So congrats to Jess, and thanks to everyone who came out to join us!

Each month, a winning bride is picked and offered her choice of the available prizes. Always the life of a party, GO FESTIVE! is proud to introduce our new party phenomenon: BATTLE BLAST Mobile Laser Tag. This one-of-a-kind service allows players to run, jump, and crawl their way to victory almost anywhere! Corporate employees and managers can learn great teamwork skills playing laser tag in, on, and around their cubicles, while groups of rowdy teenagers can enjoy hours of screaming fun in their neighborhood park around GO FESTIVE’s inflatable obstacles. BATTLE BLAST is unique, safe, and fun for ages 7 and up. On Friday, March 5 from 4:30PM – 8:30PM, GO FESTIVE! will be hosting our BATTLE BLAST Launch Party and Happy Hour in the Skybox at 2424 Studios in Philadelphia. Everyone attending will be entered to win a free laser tag game for their own BATTLE BLAST party, along with other special prizes. You’ll get a second raffle ticket just for RSVPing. In true party spirit, GO FESTIVE! will also be showing off other services, allowing guests to play video games on our jumbo inflatable screen or hop in a photobooth, all night long.  Come and join us at the Manayunk Brewery! I don’t know about you, but I’m addicted to wedding shows! If you turn on my T.V. you’re likely to see a wedding dress, cake, or centerpiece. Once TLC’s new show “Four Weddings” airs you shouldn’t be surprised to see a Philadelphia wedding on my screen.
TLC is currently interviewing Philadelphia brides that are getting married before April 11, 2010 to be featured in their new show. Unlike some wedding shows that portray brides in a negative light or show only $500,000+ weddings, “Four Weddings” will reveal each bride’s hard work and their drastically different weddings. The brides will also collaborate with one another and attend each others weddings! Wouldn’t it be nice to attend a wedding without the obligation to buy some random gift?
As if it isn’t exciting enough to have your wedding featured on TLC, you could also win an all expenses paid honeymoon for your first wedding anniversary!

Natalie, the owner of GO FESTIVE!, got married on January 2, 2010! She did not want to make a big deal about it on our blog, hence the blushing bride, but I think it is a huge deal. I’ve been hearing tidbits about the wedding throughout the planning process and since the special day (but I won’t say too much). Natalie and her new husband, Matt, were married at the Sheraton Society Hill and hired Synergetic Sounds and Lighting for lighting, Tanti Lina at Papertini for floral décor, Smokin’ Section for entertainment, Susan Stripling for photography and Christopher Rodgers of Xposedfilm as her videographer. Her friend and colleague, Mark Kingsdorf of Queen of Hearts Weddings acted as her day-of coordinator to make sure that everything ran smoothly! Of course they had a photobooth and flipbooks station as well. Having the flipbooks station set up for the wedding party between the ceremony and reception was a great way to keep everyone busy and having fun while pictures were being taken! After the wedding, Natalie and Matt went on what sounded like a very relaxing honeymoon cruise. Upon their return to reality we had a GO FESTIVE! Holiday Party at North Bowl. It was a pleasure to meet Matt and bowl with the entire GO FESTIVE! team. Then, in an office meeting last week we took a 5 minute break to look at some of Natalie and Matt’s pictures and a video of the wedding and reception. The couple looked so happy and in love but it was even more adorable to hear her giggle and see her smile while we all looked at the footage together.  Congratulations Natalie and Matt! Great news! GO FESTIVE! has won the bid to sponsor a ten week summer movie series here in Philadelphia, in beautiful Liberty Lands Park! We’ll be bringing our colossal outdoor inflatable movie screens and super-sonic sound system to the park to share the good time with friends and neighbors. Admission is free, and all are welcome. Bring your beach blankets and lawn chairs and settle in for a good time! We’re still in the planning phase, but the movie lineup will include favorites for audience members of all ages. We’ll be featuring work from local film makers as well as main-stream cinema. We’ll also be holding a film contest, and the winner’s film will be shown during the series! So mark it on your calendar and plan to come out and enjoy a movie with us, Tuesday evenings beginning June 22. No one plans a good time like GO FESTIVE!
